Here's how it works: before using the machine, you need to warm it up for about 5 minutes. Once the head starts spinning, briefly stop the device and add sugar. Quickly turn it back on, do not let the device cool down. When the device produces its first "threads", catch them with a stick. Briefly lower the stick and wrap the spun sugar around it. If you hold the stick horizontally, you will get more cotton candy.
