1. Before laying the pond liner, make sure the surface is dry and free of ice, snow, stones, and other hard or sharp objects that could cut, hit, or damage it.

2. To calculate the size, you can use the formula below:

Pond liner length: prepared pond length + double depth + double edge overlap*

Pond liner width: prepared pond width + double depth + double edge overlap*

*minimum recommended overlap – 0.10 m

To ensure you don't make a mistake, it is recommended to purchase a few meters extra so that the liner extends around the edges above the maximum water level.

3. It is recommended to use a suitable pond fleece under the pond foil. The main function is load distribution and the associated reduced mechanical load on the pond foil.
